The Finance IT Business Analyst main responsibility is to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for change to finance business processes, policies and information systems related to our global finance initiatives.
The BA should understand finance business processes, problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements, and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
The role works closely with the IT build teams, clarifying requirements, working on the solution design and validating the development (SIT, UAT)
Main areas of focus and accountability of the role
• Serves as primary, systems point-of-contact for our internal customers of finance.
• Assists in analysis, definition, and then documents detailed requirement specifications for new solutions, for changes to existing systems and/or new functionality
• Ensures delivered solution meet the requirements and productivity levels are reached in an effective and efficient manner and maintaining quality performance objectives
• Participate in preparation for solution’s User Acceptance Testing and ensures proper coverage of test cases
• Pro-actively & continuously seeks to improve the highest level of service from the application(s)
• Effectively identify and escalate issues as appropriate
• Supports effective release management with IT and ensures both implementation and operations are aware of updated features.
Work arrangement: hybrid in Madrid (4–5 days in the office).
